I am intrigued by the topographic and design contrasts presented by rugged terrain, valleys, rivers, wilderness, urban architecture, and human habitation. I reference these environments through tactile ceramic processes. The thematic focus revolves around how these settings relate to human presence, passage of time, and sense of place.
