I make art and teach to change lives. Art feeds the soul. My work stems from experiences in the wilderness and is inspired by natural surroundings. My public art and sculptures incorporate ceramics combined with a variety of materials. I am especially interested in creating works that enhance an environment, integrate with the architecture, and reflect the community. These themes revolve around nature, human presence, passage of time, and sense of place.
