Around the Clock Response  is a ceramic mural and translucent window public artwork created for Fire Station 37 in San José, CA. It presents firefighters at work and diversity within the firefighting community, with the female captain, depicted in the window, leading the crew. Children watch from below, dreaming of their futures as leaders. The window is illuminated with an astronomically timed lighting system from dusk to dawn.
